Welcome to the ADIPS website
Fairgrounds and amusement parks are relatively safe when compared with other leisure activities and, in fact, represent some of the safest leisure activities of all.
The fairground and amusement park industry benefits from a high level of involvement from all major Industry Trade Associations, who consider safety to be the industry’s number one priority. The industry has established the Amusement Device Safety Council (ADSC) and the Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) to improve and promote the safety of fairgrounds and amusement parks.
The industry’s work is supported by the Health and Safety Executive, who believe that ‘ADIPS has contributed to the reduction in accidents over recent years.'
